Are we alone? 9 months, 3 weeks agoUnless we find other humans our uniqueness will remain intact. Other life forms would change our perspective. The whole question of who is our neighbor or brother would take on a new meaning. We have trouble with that question concerning people, animals and plant. Are we really ready for another species? What does that answer say about our …[Read more]

Is there a supreme being? 10 months, 1 week agoIt is my belief that I am a created being so I would say that God existed before humans. However if it were proven that God does not exist I would be open to the idea that God is an invented concept by humans.

Have we been here before? 1 year, 7 months ago-
I think the thoughts we think are not knew. Therefore our concsious presents a environment or a reality to our true self (spirit) and when furute evnts happen its like Deja Vu. Also when we review history its like we have already been there.

I believe time is stranger than we think. The past and future are. For some reason we usually remember the past and discover the future, but there is no reason the opposite can not be true.

I am currently reading a book called the Anatomy of the Soul by Cut Thompson abook about neuroscience and God. It is from the Christian point of view but the psychoanalysis is pretty good. Any how, I was thinking if our soul is based on experience then questions of recycling still remain a function of time. As spirit beings I believe there is no…[Read more]

Recycling the soul is a common theme in most religions. In the Christian faith Christ was born, resurrected and will return. Other religions speak of the soul returning in human, animal or spiritual form depending on the moral quality of the previous life. Scientific research into the subject has been inconclusive at best. We may never know the…[Read more]

Last night I was in a bible sturdy and we were looking at scriptures concerning ressurection. Which is the belief that our flesh returns to dust and then we (spirit beings) again get new flesh. It appears that this flesh is uncorruptiable the second time around.
We did not go there, but I also believe that as long as a body or a spirit is…[Read more]

Quantum science seems to back you up on that one. Given enough time, in theory everything is possible.

Is there a supreme being? 1 year, 7 months agoIs god a human creation? Was he invented in an attempt to reconcile the cycles of life and death? Or is there rational evidence to support the existence of a supreme being?

Are there time travelers among us?: 1 year, 8 months agoIf time travelers are among us, they are probably trying to keep a low profile — but could not resist taking advantage of their knowledge of future events. They will be among the rich and powerful of our time. Accounting for inflation, John D. Rockefeller is often considered the richest person in history.

What is the nature of reality?: 1 year, 8 months agoMost of our physical world and all of the known laws of the universe are perfectly described as mathematical equations. If you look at what makes the matter that makes us, it’s really just small electromagnetic dots. Pixels! Is our world computer generated? Are we simply characters in a SimUniverse?

What is the nature of reality?: 1 year, 8 months agoEinstein himself puzzled at this question. On the quantum level, the act of observing a thing changes it. Sparking one of quantum physics’ greatest questions: Is reality dependent on the observer?

If its just us, what a tremendous waste of space.
I agree. Finding any life would be a game changer. Even simple life would mean that life is not unique to our world. We would have to embrace the reality that life is probably abundant in the universe, and that we are simply one of its progeny.
